Autism Picnics

Picnics in the park take place during each school holiday, in partnership with Barnardos Carlisle West Sure Start Children’s Centre. We aim to provide fun activities for the families and children living with autism. The setting is very informal; parents and carers can come along and have a chat while the children are entertained with various themed activities.

Love Parks Week

Chance’s Park organises a week of fun activities for all ages each year at the end of July, which falls under the umbrella of Carlisle City Council’s Love Parks Week. The activities vary from year to year, but a firm favourite is Forest Adventure Play!
