Use the new Nature Trail leaflet to take a rubbing at each Trail Post Point exploring and learning which tree is which, where to find insects, butterflies, owls, bats and many different species of birds in their natural environments.

The Georgian Garden

In this tranquil corner of Chances Park, the meandering paths and curved, irregular shape of the flowerbeds recall garden designs of the Georgian period. The planting in each bed may change over time, but the informal and mainly herbaceous style are retained.

Chances Park – planting for people and wildlife

Beautiful trees have been a key element of Morton Manor’s grounds since they were laid out in the 19th century. Today, trees planted in Georgian and Victorian times share the park with more recent specimens, giving pleasure to present and future generations.
